FAQ's


WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

The Studio is based in Woolwich Arsenal on the DLR southeastbound in Zone 4. Full address is given at the time of booking.

No onstreet parking, 10min. walk from Woolich Arsenal DLR Station or 5min. walk from nearby bus stops (53-51-386-244).



WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST IN TERMS OF CLOTHING/MAKE-UP/FACIAL HAIR?

I suggest that you take a good selection of tops that make you feel good and are comfortable to wear.

Please be mindful of not creasing the clothes on your way to the photoshoot.

Ladies, I don’t usually advise on using a make-up artist as it’s important that your head shot looks as you would for a casting.

Basic make-up is best to start with and we can add to it as we shoot for a stronger look.

Men, you are welcome to shave half way through the shoot for a clean shaven look.



WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RETOUCHING?

Natural retouching includes contrast, tone, blemishes, stray hairs, under eye bags etc. I do not overly retouch or air brush as the image needs to be an honest representation of yourself.



HOW LONG DOES THE SHOOT LAST?

Each shoot lasts as long as is necessary to achieve what we both want but my standard shoot usually lasts up to 2 hours, although bare in mind a Location Shoot can last up to 3 hours.



ARE THERE ANY INDOOR FACILITIES AT THE STUDIO?

The Studio is located above the photographer's home so "Mi casa es Tu casa" in terms of toilet, kitchen and somewhere private to change.



WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

By Cash, Online Banking, PayPal, working on card payment soon.



DO I RECEIVE ALL THE IMAGES FROM THE PHOTOSHOOT?

I don’t supply raw files or proofs, post-production work is part of the shoot. You will be supplied with images that are of the best quality and ready to use. I keep all the images on file and you can order further retouched images at any stage.

If you would like all the proofs from the shoot to look through in more detail at a later stage I can send them as low resolution files for £25 but please note: all images need to be retouched to be used.



DO YOU OFFER PRINTING SERVICES?

No. Most casting directors and agents will use websites or email to send and receive images.

I do recommend Visualeyes though for your printing needs.



DO YOU TAKE PHOTOSHOOT AT THE WEEKEND?

Yes, I shoot on weekends at no extra charge.



WHAT ARE YOUR WORKING HOURS?

I can generally shoot between 10am and 3pm but depending on the style of the photoshoot and the season it may extend if needed. 



WHEN AM I GOING TO RECEIVE MY PICTURES?

Proofs are generally sent to you within 48 hours of the photoshoot.

Retouched images though usually within 4 working days from receiving back your chosen selection.

For imminent deadlinse a quicker turnaround can be arranged.



WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT FROM THE PHOTOSHOOT?

The photographer (Federico Rommel as the author of the image) owns the copyright to the images by law.

All images may be reproduced in relation to the artists’ personal publicity.

Additional images can be requested after the delivery of the initially chosen package and also after a payment,  A difference between the chosen packages will be required to automatically upgrade that package to the most advantageous to You.


For Cash payments, an upfront £50 Non-Refundable Deposit is payable on the site federicorommel.com which will secure a booking intended to be paid for with cash and therefore in full on the day of the photoshoot, although it is included with each Package.


When a payment is to be made via cash, the Package cost must be paid in full on the day of the photoshoot,  whereas for Online payments the time window lasts 24 hours from booking the photoshoot via this website.


Only bookings accompanied by Studio Space and Payment confirmations, for either the Deposit or the Package, will be honoured.


Our Refund Policy last for the first 24 Hours during which the package will be refunded minus the Deposit. Past the first 24 Hours from your purchase, unfortunately we won't any longer offer you a refund, only a re-schedule.

1. RETURN POLICY


Please contact info@federicorommel.com before returning any items.


2. REFUND POLICY


Our Refund Policy lasts 7 Days. Past 7 Days from your purchase date, unfortunately we won't offer you any refund but just an exchange.


3. PRIVACY POLICY


3.1 WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?  


When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.


When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.


3.2 EMAIL MARKETING


With your permission, we may send you emails about our Packages and other updates.


3.3 CONSENT


When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.


If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.


With the payment of the photoshoot "FR" gains permission for the right to use and publish photographs of the photographer's subject, or in which the photographer's subject may be included for:


• Advertising, marketing and public relations via Instagram @federico.rommel.photography and Facebook @federico.rommel.photography pages


• Addition to the "FR" image library on www.federicorommel.com

The photographs may be retouched/optimised and used in whole or in part.

All photographs taken by "FR" are owned and Copyrighted under "FR" and "FR" only shall have complete ownership of the photographs


3.4 CONSENT WITHDRAWAL

3.5 DISCLOSURE


We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.


3.6 ONE.COM


Our store is hosted by One.com. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through One.com's data storage, databases and the general One.com application.

They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.


3.7 PAYMENT


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our third-party payment gateway might use your credit card info for that purpose. See 3.8.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
